Action Research has a talented and accomplished staff. All core staff members have graduate-level training in the social and behavioral sciences, either at the Master’s level or Doctorate. Our breadth of experience allows us to assemble project teams tailored specifically to our clients’ needs.
Jennifer J. Tabanico, M.A. Jennifer is our resident expert in community-based outreach and education. Her most recent projects have focused on used motor oil, safety, storm water pollution prevention, recycling, commute trip reduction, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. She is a recognized leader in Community-Based Social Marketing (CBSM) and has developed and implemented a wide range of community-based programs.

Lori Brown Large, M.A. For the past thirteen years, Lori Brown Large has conducted social and market research in the areas of behavioral health, social services, customer satisfaction, and technology. She has extensive experience in applied social research, public policy, managing data collection activities in a CATI telephone survey environment, research methods and statistical analysis. Her most recent work has focused on environmental issues, such as green purchasing, used oil, and litter reduction.

Wesley Schultz, Ph.D. Dr. Schultz serves as scientific advisor at Action Research, where he provides training and consulting in social marketing, applied research, survey design, and statistics. Dr. Schultz is Professor of Psychology at California State University, with a specialization in social psychology, conservation psychology, and statistics.
